The weather in Mathura is similar to that in Delhi and Lucknow. Hot in summers and cold in winters.
The key attractions of Mathura are the many temples dedicated to Lord Krishna like the Birla Temple, Dwarkadheesh Temple, Krishna Janam Bhoomi, Giriraj Temple and many more. There is also the famous Mathura Refinery and the Old fort of King Kans.
One can enjoy boating in the holy river Yamuna and visit the Durvasa Rishi temple and the Hansiya Rani ghat. There is also a Government Museum which houses many sculptures from the Gupta period and a great collection of Kushana art.
