Dandeli does not have its own airport. The approachable airport to this city is Belgaum which connects this region with different parts of the country. It is around 90 km away from the heart of Dandeli.

The nearest railway station to the city is Dharwad which is approximately 55 km away from Dandeli.

Kulgi Nature Camp: Kulgi Nature Camp is situated around 12 km away from the city. It is seen as a substitute of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. The place is quite famous amongst the tourists. Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary: The otherwise sleepy town of Dandeli in Karnataka is proud to be the nestling zone of a magnanimous tiger reserve, popularly known as Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is spread in an area of 834.16 sq. km and has earned the status of the largest wildlife sanctuary in India. Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is counted amongst the most attractive tourist spots in Karnataka because of abundance of flora and fauna, easy spotting of tigers and other wildlife species and chance to go deep into the wilderness. The calm and blissful ambience of the forest reserve is best enjoyed with a thrilling jeep safari or boat cruise. A journey to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is not only about venturing into the wild and enjoying the roaring sound of animal, but also about cherishing the captivating landscape speckled with valleys, rivers and hilly terrains.

Kavala Caves: Kavala Caves is located at a distance of 26 km from Dandeli, it is one of the renowned caves in the region. With 376 steps down, reach the entrance gate of this cave and then crawl down almost 40 feet deep in the tunnel to catch the glimpse of Shiva linga which is a naturally created lingam. A number of devotees come on the day of ‘Shivratri’ to worship Lord Shiva here.

Shiroli Peak: Shiroli Peak is another renowned place in the region of Dandeli where people from different parts of the country love to visit. Placed inside Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, it is approximately 25 km away from the city. Being the highest point of the region, it offers picturesque view to the travelers.
