Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport that is situated in Dehradun at a distance of about 82 km. Dehradun is the nearest railway station that has regular trains from all around the country. Regular bus service is available from Dehradun to Dhanaulti. Dehradun is situated at a distance of about 66 km from Dhanaulti.
Surkanda Devi: Surkanda Devi temple is one of the sacred Hindu temples that lure visitors on regular basis. The holy temple is situated in the Tehri district at an altitude of about 2,757 metres. The temple is surrounded by dense forest and offers picturesque beauty of the surrounding region.
Kunjapuri: Situated at an altitude of 1645 m, Kunjapuri temple gives a picturesque view of the Himalayan region. On the way to Gangotri at a distance of 6 km from Narendra Nagar the road splits at Hindola Khal, leading to the holy shrine, which is situated at a distance of about 5 km.
